The board approved a resolution by unanimous vote advising the President ask Teresa Metzger Howe to conduct RCS in the 2009/2010 Season.

The registered agent for the orchestra was changed from the former treasurer Natasha Close to the current treasurer Doug Potter based on an e-mail vote by a quorum of board members.

A recommendation was made to change the bylaws to convey the duty of registered agent for the state of Washington to the treasurer. This change will be decided by a vote of orchestra members at the next general meeting.

Treasurer

The treasurer presented a summary of income and expenses from 7/1/2008 through 6/30/09. The February summary may be reviewed on the RCS website.

Membership

The symphony has 49 paid members. Membership dues totaled $2225.00 and member donations this quarter were $140.00. All monies were given to the treasurer for deposit. The roster and e-mail list have also been updated.

Publicity

Samples of fliers and the concert program were distributed for review and corrections were noted. Discussion followed regarding the number of copies to print and distribute. Ticket printing was also discussed.

Library

The music library was suggested as the potential archive for Treasurer's documents as well as a collection of previous concert programs.

Board members are working on a database for checking out sheet music that will help encourage full recovery of music scores.

Conductor

The conductor discussed the status of various guest players for the upcoming concerts.

A suggestion was made to make a presentation of flowers to Mr. Keyn the "guest composer" at the final concert.

President

The April 1 board meeting will be used to discuss the conductors contract.
