Email Votes
1. A vote was taken to determine one of two things: if the masks would be required or if masks are recommended and vaccinates required at the Spring Concert. The result was to require masks at the Spring Concert.
2. The Rain City Symphony's Board voted unanimously to extend Teresa's contract for next year.

Approval of Minutes
The February 16, 2022 Board Meeting minutes were approved.

Sectional Report
Gennie reported that sectionals went well, except for the first violins leaving a window open and the brass leaving the lights on at the Music Center. Gennie will create a check list noting what needs to be done to secure the building at the end of the sectional.

Grant Status and Funding
Rain City Symphony will receive a onetime Covid grant of $3,500 from King County. This is in addition to our 4Culture grant of $2,100. Jackie will be sending us more information regarding funding soon.

Financial Status
There are some expenses and income still outstanding. Generally, we are within our budgeted amounts. The King County 4Culture Grant has not been received, nor has the Covid bonus.

Membership Status
Anne noted that fifty-one members are playing with us of which 47 have donated and five people have indicated that they will donate. There are some people playing in small groups who have also donated.

Concert Status
Our Spring Concert will be at the National Nordic Museum on Wednesday, June 1st. We will be able to enter the building at 5:30 p.m. There is no stage. An unsecured classroom down the hall will be able for cases. We need to bring stands and maybe lights. Charlotte believes the programs will be ready by next Wednesday.

Venues for Next Year
Gennie has found three potential churches for our concerts. They include Our Redeemer Luther Church on 85th St. and 24th NW in Seattle, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 111 NE 80th St in Seattle and the University Unitarian Church on 35th NE in Seattle. In the past the Unitarian Church has been too costly to rent.

Summer Plans
Last year groups played during the summer and coaches were provided. This summer coaches will not be provided by Rain City Symphony.

Next Board Meeting
The next Board Meeting is June 8th at 7:00 pm at Doug's House.
